Abound In Hope

Romans 15:13
Now the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope,
through the power of the Holy Ghost!

These are very hard times that we are living - many have lost their jobs -many are scraping what little they have to get buy - closer to home for me, my job is going through many changes - many are leaving - many are staying behind but our jobs will be changing - the unknown is scary - many are trying to find employment but are finding it nearly impossible - cut backs are everywhere - times are tough - but GOD remains in HIS throne - HE alone is in full control - we need to worry about what the economic people are saying -we need to listen to God - we need to remember that HE is our hope - not this world - not these things we have worked so hard to have - now there is nothing wrong with providing for your family - God even commands it - but many of us refuse to give up our comforts - we have gotten so used to our lifestyle - we won't let anything go - I believe God has a plan even during these trying times - so just look up - don't look around you - don't look at what those who don't believe are doing - look to the hills -that's where our help comes from- remember God owns it all - and He won't withhold anything from His children unless HE has a good reason! We must trust Him no matter what - I know times are hard - I too am feeling a big pinch -God wants us to trust Him that's the bottom line- His love for us in not based on circumstances but in a relationship we have with Jesus Christ - let's remember Who we belong to! God has us in HIS hands - let's abound in hope - for the world around us is looking for anything that will bring them hope - we have what they need -let's show those around us what faith is - faith that God will see us through - and in the end that's what matters most - bringing God glory with our lives -
