THE DAILY BLUEPRINT FOR 7-28-06

HEBREWS WALK #15

HEBREWS 2:3
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed by them that heard Him!

Our salvation is a precious and priceless gift from God to His creation -we must not neglect this - by this I do not mean we have to work to stay saved -what it means I believe is that we should never ever forget the cost of our salvation -it cost JESUS CHRIST everything -and HE was willing to do so for all of us -and would have done it if only one of us existed - and JESUS did this before we ever even knew Him - He did it while we were still dead in our sins - JESUS came and willingly died for us - HE gave HIS life to save us! Praise God -We must not forget that it was not free for JESUS - the cost was very high! God the Father had to turn HIS back on HIS SON - this had never happened and will never happen again -JESUS paid it all in full -there is no charge left -its been paid off - you know the feeling when you pay of a loan that has been looming over you for years? This is what it felt like to JESUS -to be sure JESUS had to suffer - and suffered HE did -He was so beaten and blooded that HE was hardly recognizable as a human being - many of you may have seen the PASSION of the CHRIST -and saw how gruesome it looked on the screen - I am here to tell you it was actually so bad when it happened that what they showed in that movie could not even scratch the surface - apart from the Physical pain -there was spiritual death for Jesus -HE took our place- lets not neglect what God has done for us - lets listen to the confirmation of those around us that testify of the truth that God so loved the world - He gave HIS only SON!
Praise God!

A side note: we cannot escape our sin apart from the shed blood of CHRIST - The only way to know HIM is to trust in HIM fully -
JESUS died so we could live -we live because CHRIST died!

When we live in CHRIST a new life begins!
