THE MAN OF SORROWS

ISAIAH 53:3
He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief: and we hid as it where our faces from Him; He was despised,
and we appreciated Him not.

This passage was written several hundred years before Jesus was born - but it describes our Savior perfectly - He was and still is rejected by many - He was and still is despised to this very day - to know JESUS means we must be willing to die for HIM - being a Christian -is not an easy thing to do - in this day and age there are people in places in this world being killed because of their belief in Jesus Christ -and HIS saving blood - the world despises Him - and He was so hated that many would just turn their eyes away from Him - leaving Him alone -totally -and even HIS FATHER had to turn HIS back on HIS only SON - He was despised and was and still is the Man of sorrows - Isiaiah wrote these worlds to tell the listeners that JESUS was coming - and this would be the Savior of the world - the ONE who willingly laid down HIS life for us - we must be about HIS business - we must be interested in seeing the lost come to know Him - I come to you each day to bring HONOR and GLORY to JESUS - but that's not all -I want to encourage believers to run the race with endurance- so I hope to be an encourager - but I would be totally remiss if I did not have the soul purpose of winning Souls for JESUS - He has called me to do this - please pray for the lost -those whom you know are lost without JESUS - just pray -and seek what the LORD would have you do - following CHRIST is not easy - and HE has warned us that the world hated HIM - why should we not expect the world to hate us? The pain and sorrow will come - but it will not last forever - we must be willing to follow JESUS - take up our cross and leave the rest behind -our LORD died for our sins -and rose again to show us the way -
Lets trust JESUS - the author and finisher of our faith!

A side note: JESUS knew what HE had to do to save us - HE knew the cost -HE knew all our sin -and HE still went to the cross - HE died in our place - HIS saving grace is all that can save us - we must be washed in HIS blood - The Man of sorrows wants you to know HIM!

When you live in CHRIST the problems of today mean nothing!

JESUS SAID WE WOULD HAVE TRIALS IN THIS LIFE- HE ALSO PROMISED TO ALWAYS BE THERE - HE KNOWS WHAT OUR PAIN IS LIKE! amen!
