WALK HIS WAY
MICAH 6:8
HE has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly -to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?
Our walk comes from God alone -its nothing we can do or ever will do that makes us right with God - only though the blood of the Lamb do we have any right standing before God - God does have some things He does require of us - to act justly - this means we must be willing to always do the right thing - not matter how much it hurts us or others- doing the right thing -is always the right thing - to tell the truth and tell no lies -not even the white lies - a lie is a lie - God also calls us to love Mercy - We know that apart from Him -there is no real mercy - Jesus came from Heaven to the Earth to show us the way -this much is true -He also came to take away our sin debt - as I listened to the song sung this past Sunday at church -called What Sin -tears came down my face- because though Jesus - our sin debt is paid in full - we should love others because Jesus first loved us - He has forgiven us more then we could ever forgive anyone who has wronged us - finally God calls us to walk humbly with Him- we should not be prideful -brash people -we must be humble - a humble life is one that is lead by the Lord - its not a life of fighting or struggling against God -but of full submitance to Him - its not easy in this flesh - for apart from Him we can do nothing - but though Him we can do all things - We must be willing to walk the way HE wants us to walk - the more we walk with JESUS - the more and more we should being to act - look - and be like Him - lets not walk away from God - but lets walk HIS way! His way is always the best way!
A side note: Every step we take should bring us closer to JESUS!
When you live in CHRIST your walk looks like HIS!
