THE DAILY BLUEPRINT FOR 7-12-06

THE REFINER

MALACHI 3:3
. . . and He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord and
Offering in righteousness!


I don't often do this - but God has lead me back to Malachi for today's verse - we talked about the fact that JESUS is coming back some day - we do not know when - but when He does - He is coming back as the ruler King - the King of kings - the ruler and creator - not as a child as He first came - today we see that when HE comes - He will test everything - and what stands up to His testing will remain -but anything that does not will face the fire - what we build our lives on matters - if its on the things of this world - they will all burn up - if we are storing up treasures in heaven- they will remain - we must face the fact that this is not our home - we are not staying here -one day we will leave this place and this life and move on - to bigger and better things - we have Heaven before us -and life as we know it here - we have the promise of JESUS Himself -when HE says HE is going to prepare a place for us - HE is working on it right now as I type this - one day we will be with HIM forever - but until then -we need to be looking up -packing our bags of faith and waiting - we must be still and know that HE Is GOD - He is going to return when HE is not expected - we cannot live today like we have more days - we must do what is needed while its called today -
JESUS is coming and when HE comes -HE will judge everything and everyone - do you stand on HIS promise or on the sand of this world -our lives need to be built on the Rock if we are to stand!

A side note: We don't know what tomorrow holds - but we do know who holds tomorrow -soon the trumpet will sound and we will go home!

When we live in CHRIST we await HIS return!
