THE HOPE SERIES - PART 5
1 CORINTHIANS 9.10b
...For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that plows should plow in hope; and that he that threshes in hope should be a partaker of His hope...

Whatever we are called to do -we should do with Hope in mind - the farmer plants in hopes that there will be rain and sunshine so his crops may grow- and many of us who get into our cars daily hope we make it to and from work without harm - we have to have hope for this to happen - the question that always comes up is where is our hope! I have asked that question many times during this series - because its very important - where we place our trust says a lot about our faith - the world around us wants to be sure we really believe what we say we believe and its not about words but actions - we can say all day what we believe but when action is put behind it - people take notice - The Word for today says that he that plows should do so in hope - those who have put their hope and trust in JESUS CHRIST will have eternal life - but not only that -abundant life in the here and now- now this does not mean we will have a life without trouble - but instead of life that is in God's hands -He can take us through any trial and brings us through with flying colors - He is that powerful! Lets put our hope in JESUS for HE alone is the pathway to God the Father - there are many however who don't put their hope in Christ but instead in themselves - this becomes little more then idol worship - we can ourselves be an idol if we place ourselves before God -meaning we say we know more then He does - remember JESUS is our hopegiver! Praise HIS name -
He gave His life so we could have forgiveness of sin -so that could spend forever with Him one day - That is our hope! amen!
BUILDING MOMENT: WHO ARE YOU TRUSTING YOUR LIFE TO?
Because we have CHRIST - we have HOPE!

WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY WHEN WE ARE GONE? WILL THEY SEE OUR HOPE WAS IN CHRIST AND HIM ALONE?
