SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 7

EPHESIANS 2:13
But now in CHRIST JESUS you who sometimes were far off are made nigh(close) by the blood of JESUS!

Before CHRIST came into our lives and redeemed us from our sins -we were lost and far off from God! Our sins created a great chasim that we could not cross -only the LORD on the cross could bridge this gap! Only JESUS is capable to saving anyone -all we can do is seek His face and be used to plant seeds - He is going to harvest them in due time - the good news is that we are now close to God through Christ! We have been changed forever and our destiny which once included eternal and perminate seperation from God - now includes our living with Christ forever and ruling with Him - I admit I cannot fathum what this will be like -we need to celebrate our new birthright! We need to praise the LORD JESUS with all we have - He has brought us close! He has taken what seprated us from God and brought us near again! Just as Jesus came near we are now drawn near to Him! Yesterday at the Compassion Meeting -a young lady named Haley reminded me that the whole purpose of Jesus was to bring the lost back to Him - her song talked about seeing someone's face when she got to heaven -it was those who she helped - those she shared the gospel with! Lets celebrate the freedom we have in Christ- that the gap that once seperated us from God is gone -whiped away by the preious blood of the Lamb of God! Praise be to GOD our FATHER! Amen!!!!!!

a side note: The cross bridged the gap so we could make it back across to to met with GOD! amen!
Remember CHRIST , because He gave up HIS life to save ours!

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -18

MALACHI 3:18
Then shall You return and discern between the righteous
and the wicked, between him that serves God
and him that does not serve Him.


I am back at BSF again this year - this is Bible Study Fellowship for those who are not familiar with this -it is an extensive bible study -we are studying Matthew this time around -I did not realize when I began to do this series on Malachi that its the last book of the old testament -and Matthew has been called the gospel that bridges the old and new testaments together- and what better way for this series to end then to talk about the judgment that is coming one day - right now the righteous (those saved by JESUS) and the wicked (those who deny Christ) are together living on this same planet at the same time -there will come a time when those who know JESUS and those who do not will be separated -Jesus said this time and time again all throughout the book of Matthew...like it or not -there will be a judgment - but the thing of is - none of us know when it will happen -there are signs all around us that these are in the last days - but these last days could last 1,000 years or in the next moment- only the Father in heaven knows- but the day will come - and today is just one day closer to HIS return - after last night's study of Matthew - the thing I took away was God's purpose for our lives- why are we here? Some think its to live life like you want to live it -others think that we are our own god's -the commanders of our lives - but the truth is it all belongs to JESUS -every day we live- every breath we take -all belong to Him! Its gonna be a sad day when JESUS returns for those who don't know Him - but those who do will be rejoicing - you see our time here is limited - but our time later with Jesus will be unlimited -lets look forward to that day - but lets not forget the witness we live now - I hope you have enjoyed this brief walk through Malachi - I hope to do the last chapter soon - I have another project I feel I should do its called 7 days of remembering - stay tuned for this series to begin tomorrow!in CHRISTDaniel

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 6

PSALM 103:12-13
As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Like a Father pities his children, so the Lord pities those that fear Him!

I have heard this verse time and time again- what I had forgotten was its address - I thought this was in the New Testament- It just goes to show you JESUS is the WORD made flesh - He is all over the word!
When I read today's verse I thought about the song by Casting Crowns - in this song they ask - How far is the East from the West- and the answer is from one scared hand to the other -this is the truth - for JESUS stretched out HIS arms on the cross and offered Himself in perfect obedience to God the Father! Jesus took our sins away and the sting of death is now gone for those who are in Christ Jesus! This is another reason to celebrate what Christ has done -to show the world around us that we are not judgmental we just care what happens to the lost around us! Jesus has offered this forgiveness to all who would accept Him as Savior- the offer is on the table - if you know JESUS then tell others -if you do not - please give your life to HIM today!
He is waiting for you to come home to HIM!
Lets never forget the cost it was to take our sins away!
The Lamb was slain for us! Amen! Praise GOD!

a side note: Without the blood of CHRIST -we are all hopelessly lost!

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 5

LUKE 7:47&48
Wherefore I say to you, her sins which are many are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. And He said to her: your sins are forgiven!

Our Lord forgives our sins - not because we earned the right for this to happen -but because HE died for us! The night before Jesus was to be killed - a woman came into the place Jesus and His followers were eating - she came in and anointed His feet with oil and dried them with her hair -this display did not bring applause but judgment- those in the room thought this lady had no business being there in the first place- but to waste this oil - some even said the money that the oil cost could have been used to feed the poor - they misunderstood what was taking place- this woman loved - really loved others - and cared about Jesus - she knew He was about to give His life for us! All the while many of His closest followers still did not get it - the main point is we must love much -and forgive those who do us wrong - this is not easy at all - but by God's Spirit we can do it! But if we are not willing to forgive those who sin against us -how can we expect God to forgive us? Lets love and let bygones be bygones! Lets love much!

a side note: There is no greater love than that of JESUS!
Remember CHRIST , because He has taken our sins away!

The Daily Blueprint 9-25-07

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 4

COLOSSIANS 2:13-14
And you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has quickened together with Him, having forgiven all your trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took them out of the way. Nailing it to His cross!


God stance on sin is strong - some people only see the fact that God is love and therefore must let everyone into His everlasting Kingdom. Some feel its only fair that God let everyone in - after all -He made us and we belong to Him so He will let us in - some feel they have made some deal with God and He will therefore forgive their sins -but only on their terms - God is holy and He is a God of judgment- He is the only one authorized to judge the sins of man - only He has the finally authority on the requirements to gain access to His kingdom - God has made a provision for us through His Son - Jesus Christ - Jesus came in perfect submission to God the Father and became a man - a man that was born as a bade in a manger -who lived a perfect life - never sinning not even once and then becoming sin He never once committed- nailing it to the cross and taking our sins away - Jesus died to bring us true perfect and eternal life -Jesus is the only way in - we cannot go around the plan God has put in motion -we must do it on His terms - only He has made such a provision to forgive our sins - our pastors no matter how godly or Christ centered they are - cannot save us! Our good deeds cannot save us - nothing but the blood of Jesus can save us - some wonder why God cannot just dismiss sin in our lives and look the other way? Some call God cruel - its much like those workers in the field that Jesus told about - some where hired really early that morning and agreed the payment - others were hired in midmorning -and then some in the late afternoon -when the day was done -they went to collect their wages - but those who worked all day were paid the same as those who worked just an hour - they cried foul -this is not fair - but the owner of the land said - you agreed with the payment -its not your business what these others made- It was fair - God is good and He has blotted our sins out - taken them away and nailed them to the cross! Amen!


a side note: Our sins must be placed on JESUS - or else we have to pay the price that we cannot afford to pay.
Remember CHRIST , He has eraced your sins!

WHEN GOD SEES US - HE ONLY SEES THE SON!

The Daily Blueprint 9-24-07

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 3

ROMANS 4:7-8
Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered! Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin!


As we travel down this road of remembrance for what the Lord Jesus has done for us His people - we get to see why we are so blessed! Our sins are forgiven! Our scarlet sins that kept us out of the Lord's presence has been forgiven! Cast as far as the East is from the West- and cast deeper then even the deepest ocean on earth! Our sins are gone - this is not to say that we should sin - but that we should rejoice in what Christ has done for us! He gave us our life back- we once we dead in our sins - once our sins held us down - there was a time in our lives that we were heading down the road to hell - now I know many of you understand this and know Jesus and are on your way to heaven - but what about those of you who don't know Jesus? Your sins are not forgiven - and you will have to pay the price for them - but the trouble is you cannot pay the price- only the blood of JESUS can cover your sins - not your good deeds - not the money you give to the church -not by how well you know the Word of God - no its only by the blood of JESUS - that's it - that's the only way - some call this narrowed minded - if that's true -so be it! Its the truth - My wife had a friend over the other day who has never been to our house before -she asked my wife who was the Holly Roller in this house -she said me and her where - needless to say this friend does not know Jesus - and until they do -nothing we say can matter much - but what we do will matter so much more - we must love those who don't know Jesus because God loves them and He wants them to come to know Him just like we have - many times we forget just how far Jesus had to reach down and scoop us up! Sometimes we forget there was a time when we did not know Jesus!
Lets love those who deny Christ- not to support they denial but to show them the love of Jesus - if His love and His blood has not changed you - maybe you need to go back again and give your life to Him! I had to come to this realization the other day when I discovered that I was trying to carry what Jesus already took! Today be honest with the Lord - and yourself - Seek HIM and know that if you are not saved -HE can and will save you - just put your trust in HIM -remember what HE did to open heaven's gates for you! HE is good and faithful! He loves you and wants you to be His child today - give JESUS a try - He will never fail you!

a side note: Nothing but the blood of JESUS can save you!
Remember CHRIST , His death took your sins away!

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 2

PSALM 103:2-4
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases!


Today's verse is a rejoice producing passage- God has given us His Son to save us from our sins - only Jesus can save us - no one else could have done it - only our Lord Jesus Christ! He came from heaven to earth to take our place - He took our punishment- I know I say this a lot -but this is the truth -and it must be shouted from the roof tops! We are too afraid sometimes to do that -we need not be ashamed of what JESUS has done for us - He has taken our sins and cast them far far away - and then on top of that -HE can heal us (if its His will) Ive seen the power of God lately in two areas- one in my Step Mom Sande -God has brought her from the verge of death - to being able to walk again! I have also seen what God can do in the life of my friend and sister in Christ -Karen! God took all the cancer away! Praise HIM! God has not forgotten us - He is right here with us! PRAISE THE LORD! Lets rejoice in this good news today - Ive been down for some time - I am not totally sure why - but on my long ride home - I once again placed my life in HIS hands - you see when we are down -the enemy tries to get a foothold and tries to hold us captive - if that describes you - give it to JESUS - He has offered us salvation - He has offered to take our sins away - He has offered Himself to be the once for all to save your soul! God is not surprised by what you are facing - He is with you - and He will comfort you - just trust HIM! Lets remember that God has a plan and His plans always work! We have this promise! PRAISE THE LORD most HIGH! Your sins and your diseases can be taken away by the blood and stripes of JESUS our LORD! amen!

The Daily Blueprint 9-19-07

SEVEN DAYS OF REMEMBERING - Day 1

1st Peter 3:18
For Christ has once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit...


We begin a new 7 day series today - of course it will lead into next week and then Lord willing I will go back to Maliachi and finish up that book then move on to Matthew - whatever the LORD leads me to do I want to do - please pray for me! This series is about remembering all that GOD has done for us - in the next seven or so days I hope to highlight what God did for us through Christ! The outline for this series came from my Pastor -but I am not using his words at all - but as usual using the words God gives me - lets remember....

Today's verse sums up the whole gospel! Basically and truly - JESUS died for us - (the RIGHTEOUS JUST ONE) - for the unjust(that's us!) Jesus traded places with us and took our punishment - if Jesus had sinner then it would be understandble- but this was a completely innocent man -never once did He sin - not even once - and yet here HE was dying for sins He never even commited- that is love - take a look into our lives of the flesh and you will see how quick we want revenge -but Jesus did not seek revenge -but willingly submited to the Father - Jesus knew the cost would be great and even He had to pray about it - He had to spend a lot of time with the Father and even at times questioned Him - but this was not sin! Jesus was fully man and fully God! now I cannot say I understand how that can be - but God says it and I believe it! Jesus paid the ulitmate price to save us - He died once for all - meaning one drop of HIS Blood was enough to save the entire human race from certain spirutal death - Jesus went so far to save us - from heaven to earth- to the cross and then to the grave -but the grave could not keep HIM! amen! And because JESUS rose -we too can raise again - our sins have been nailed to the cross with JESUS taking all the warth of God so we could live in peace with God!
lets remember how good it is to be forgiven our sins - and lets never forget the high price that was paid by JESUS to bring us this Grace!

a side note: As I wrote this tonight - I kept seeing the relationship of the words Grave and Grace! Grace gives us victory from the Grave!

IN THE END ALL THAT MATTERS IS CHRIST DIED FOR US!

The Daily Blueprint 9-17-07

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -17

MALACHI 3:17
...And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spears his own son that serves him.


The truth of these words is awesome! What God has said through Malachi right here is the gospel - God spares us just like a man would spear his very own son - but in a twist God gave us HIS only Son so that we could be spared hell's flames -God allowed Jesus to pay the price we should have paid - to Him we are all His precious children -and in a way we are His jewels - He said that we would shine like the stars! He came to this world that His very hands created with the sole propose of saving the entire human race from sin- God loves us and provided the proof on Calvery's tree! We are His children now and we can bolding come before His throne in praise with requests and He will answer us - Jesus not only saved us from the power of sin - but also put us in a position to hear from God and for Him to hear from us! This two way line of communication is our life line- we should spend time each day with God in prayer and praise - that is why Livin in Prayer is so important to this ministry -we must be people of prayer - if we know JESUS then prayer should be natural - it should be what we do each moment of every day - we must live lives of prayer - and live our life in the word of God -its important - we must be willing to grow toward the Son in all that we do - its not us doing it - but Christ in us that does this and brings it to pass!
We are the jewels of God - precious in His sight - He does not want anyone lost - lets be bring shining examples of Christ's love to those around us - lets be HIS hands and feet - Let God use you today!

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -16

MALACHI 3:16
Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another: and the Lord heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and they thought upon His name!


Who is God to you? Is He your friend? is He your ruler and King? Or is He just someone you spend time with one day a week and go back to your life? He has to be Lord in your life -He cannot take second place -I was reading from Matthew last night and I got to the verse that talked about loving God more then your relatives - we must put God in the 1st place in our lives where He belongs - as we have gone through the book of Malachi - we have seen what it means to give everything to the Lord - we have seen those who try and rob God of His glory -those who won't give when God asks and won't do anything for others- but we have seen those who will be blessed - those who follow the Lord no matter what the world around them does- and today we hear about those that fear the Lord- to fear the Lord means you love Him so much you will do whatever He asks you to do - and when this happens there will be times when He asks something of us that we simply don't really want to do -but this is where the rubber meets the road - we can say all the nice words -we can act the part- but when it comes right down to it - who do you worship? Who is the Lord of your life? If its not Jesus Christ -we are in some serious trouble -because only Jesus died - only Jesus can save us from our sins - and only Jesus is God in the flesh!
Today's verse says that a book was written about the people who really fear God and obeyed Him -we must be willing to submit to God if we have been called by God and have come to know Him personally - we have two or three more verses to go in this chapter of Malachi - I will come back and do another chapter soon - I plan to move on to something else -be in prayer for where God leads me -thanks!
Lets live our lives to please God - He is all that matters anyway!


a side note: It's not who we are that matters -its who JESUS is to us!

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -15

MALACHI 3:15
And now we call the proud happy; yea they that work wickedness are set up; yea they that tempt God are even delivered.


I have to admit as I read today's selection I don't right off understand it - the best I can tell after praying about this -is the fact that God is merciful to all - He loves everyone since He made everyone and everything - He is the lover of our souls - He wants what is best for His children and those who are not yet HIS - while He made everyone -some have denied His existence- some have walked away from the truth and now dwell in complete darkness - God can deliver us if only we surrender to HIS way and leave our way behind -His way is the best way period- its remarkable that God would be willing to send His Son for the likes of us -we have received His mighty mercy - He loves us enough to let His Son take our place and receive our punishment for sins He never committed -God has proved His love time and time again and Though many have turned their backs on the Creator of all - He still loves them and does not want even one lost -but the sad truth is many will leave the way of truth and walk in darkness now and forever - lets be the best witness we can be for those who don't know the life changing truth of the gospel - lets be more willing to do what is needed so that many more will come into HIS kingdom! This is of utmost importance- are we following JESUS as we should? Tough questions like these must be answered - what do you think?

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -14

MALACHI 3:14
You have said, it is vain to serve God: and what profit
is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have
walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

There have always been naysayers of the Christian faith - many want to find whatever they can so they do not have to believe the truth -many don't want to be held accountable for their actions - many just hope all this Jesus stuff is just some story and not relative today - but the truth is there is no better thing for us to do then to walk with JESUS in a personal life changing day by day relationship - its not vain to serve the Lord at all - its the greatest calling any of us can have -Jesus laid His life down to save us - He loves us all with a deep passion that we cannot even begin to understand - we all deserve death - we all deserve hell but God gave us His Son instead and brought us salvation that means when we leave this place we will be just going home - or like Big Daddy Weave sang - we will be just changing neighborhoods - we have all been called to serve the Lord in some way - He has a calling for each of our lives -we must get away from it and seek HIS face to know what we are to do - the world looks at us and does not understand the truth -we try to explain it - but without the drawing of the Holy Spirit- we are helpless - God calls us into a relationship with Himself -some refuse it and run the other way -some embrace it only later to walk away and got back the way they came - but those with whom this truth takes root -its a changed life forever that proves the truth of the gospel!
Lets never feel its in vain to serve the Lord -He was willing to die for us -are we willing to live for HIM? good question! amen!

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -13

MALACHI 3:13
Your words have been strong against Me, says the Lord. Yet you say, What have we spoken so much against You?


The mouth is a powerful thing - growing up I was always told that sticks and stones break my bones but words will never hurt me - this is not true at all - with our mouth we can curse or bless - we can cuss or we can speak words of blessing - our mouth can be a source of blessing or a cause for a curse - we praise GOD with our mouth but at the same time we can curse others - God speaks through Malachi and says that ill has been spoken about Himself - God can hear ever idle word and every thought - HE knows what is in our hearts and we cannot hide anything from Him -there are many who speak ill of God - those who deny Him -the enemy speaks ill of God and he puts words in people's mouths to curse God - and those who hate God speak blasamphies against Him - words are very important and should never be taken lightly- God has given us HIS word and its true - its the truth - lets be sure we never speak badly of our LORD - He is God and should be ruler of our lives -this includes our mouths!
Lets speak the truth in love - for all to hear!

9-6-07 DAILY BLUEPRINT

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -12

MALACHI 3:12
...and all nations shall call you blessed: for you shall be a
delightsome land, says the Lord of hosts.

God loves to be bless His children -but His blessings should not be the reason we give our lives to HIM - it must be out of pure worship and love -God sent JESUS to take our rightful place on the cross -we all deserved that death but were all spared by Jesus! The blessings God gives us is not because we have earned them but because we know that our dependence on God is sure and true - and the blessings we may get are not just for us to horde -but for us to share with others- when God does something wonderful in our lives -we need to share it with others- you see we all need a lift me up sometimes -this faith walk we go through can be very hard - we need support and love -and we need to share what God is doing in our lives- right now in my life I am going through a valley - and its been quite some time - part of it is my wife and all her physical suffering - its effecting our lives in a bad way at times -but if we allow HIM too - God will use what we think as bad and make it a blessing- but we must wait on the LORD and that is not easy - especially for hands on people like me! I always want to fix what's broken and sometimes God wants it to be that way and I end up fighting HIM - sometimes blessings are not what would imagine - but in the end God will use everything in our lives to bring about HIS plan and if we follow HIM we will be blessed! We can follow the ways of this world and miss out on the blessing God has for us - again its not that we deserve any blessing but its because God wants to do something amazing with your life and my life! Others will see the blessings in our lives and wonder where it came from -we can then boldly proclaim that its God who has done it! What an awesome witness we can be then!


a side note: Blessings come from God - He loves to bless HIS children -but we should never believe or thbink HE has to bless us - its always up to HIM!

A WALK THOUGH MALACHI -11

MALACHI 3:11
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destory the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts!

Today's verse talks about the protective hand of God - many do not realize that God and God alone is all that protects us - God puts His hand over our lives and sometimes must remove His hand - so we can get but a glimpse of what it would be like without His protection- the thing about this protection is even those who deny God are protected by the God they don't even believe in - calamity will come to all us sometime in our lives- sooner or later all of us will face a crisis in our lives- it may be a health issue -money shortage- it could be our loss of independence or it may be a natural disaster that we happen to be in - but the truth be known - you are not there by accident- God has allowed whatever will be fall us - He is in total and complete control of it all - if He were to let go for even one millisecond - all that is will be gone in an instant - God is that strong and powerful -and when He says He will protect you - He will - but all of us will leave this place one day - whether that's 100 years from now or 1 year - it does not matter -God is in control and as sad it as it sounds - He must remove His protective hand from us -just like we must with our earthly children - we know what's best for them - and sometimes they go outside our boundaries and sometimes we must let them do it - even though we know they will get hurt -we must teach them - God does the same with us - He will not let anything happen to us without being in full control of it! If you get some time - read the book of Job -this book goes into this very thing - also I want to recommend a book called Let God be God - I will have more info on this book - lets remember that nothing is out side God's control! We are protected by HIS mighty hands! Praise GOD!

MALACHI 3:10
Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in My house, and prove Me now herewith, says the LORD of hosts. If I will not open to you the widows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be enough room to receive it!

The past two devotionals dealt with those who try to rob God -but today we get to deal with those who give to God! When we give what we have to the GOD who owns it all - He will pour out a blessing on us that we cannot contain - now many take this and run with it and make it seem that it must be a finical blessing - but its not always the case - many times its a blessing that cannot be measured in human terms -its a blessing at times we may not see as a blessing -many times we feel we know what is best and we want that - what God gives us is always better- we must trust the Lord when we give to HIM but this should not be our motivation to get something in return -we must give out of worship and if God so choices HE can bless us - but the blessing to come should not be what makes us give -its not about us - the health and blessing gospel to some preach is not the truth - God can bless us but HE does not have to bless us! Its up to HIM - our obedience should not depend on HIS blessings! Its not about what we get -its about what we give and why - many give to get -but we must be different -we must be willing to give and get nothing in return - I heard a song that said - you cannot buy your way to heaven and this is true -we don't gain salvation by the amount of money we give- God wants our hearts not our money -but He asks us to give out of a heart of worship!
God said He would open the windows of heaven pour out such a blessing that we simply cannot contain it - that's awesome!Lets give to GOD out of worship! He said to test HIM on this - do you believe HIM enough to give?

MALACHI 3:9
...You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation!

The charge against those who choice to rob God is very strong - God says that He will send a curse on them - strong words but true words - this will not be a happy message I am afraid - but the truth must be spoken -God feels very strongly about those who choose to steal - the Word says that satan comes to steal and destroy - It was two thieves that were crucified with JESUS - and God says those who steal the innocence from children would have been better to never have been born at all - God hates the act of stealing -just like He hates lies and murder - God hates sin - period - giving to God is just another area were people falter - And there have been those who have come in the name of JESUS but sole mission is to steal - imagine the judgment God will have against them -what about us? Do we steal from God - one thing I must say is this message is not about money per say - but there is time - there is our other recourses - there are our relationships - there are our vocations - are we stealing from God there?
Lets pray and seek HIS face- we need to be sure we give it all over to God - our will must be surrendered to HIS!
Lets give it all to JESUS since HE owns it all anyway - we give back what is already HIS- lets be happy cheerful givers of CHRIST!

a side note: What do we have that has not been given to us by GOD?

With CHRIST all we have is used for HIS glory!
