The Daily Blueprint 7-13-07
PREPARATIONS
JOHN 14:2
In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go prepare a place for you.
Last night I went to the visitation of Doug and his family - it was very hard to see my friend no longer with us in this world -Doug was not there anymore but was home - the family left behind were the ones who needed a touch from God - Doug did not want to cause his family to suffer undo pain -so he went peacefully into the hands of JESUS! I was touched by the number of people who came to the visitation - Doug worked at my job - he worked as a contractor with electronic background - he was an every day handy man - but the thing about Doug is that he always had a smile on his face and a nice thing to say! He had the joy of the LORD and he knew where he was going - and we know where Doug is today! He is home! He is more alive then he has ever been! Doug is in the presence of the LORD! What better place is there to be - Jesus did not give too much away about what heaven would be like - He said their would be many mansions - and that HE had to leave to prepare a place for us - today God of All is preparing us a place- we all have an appointment - Doug's appointment was two days ago -we have no idea when any of ours is - so we must make preparations -we must be ready!
Are you ready? If you don't know JESUS as your LORD then you are not ready! The reality is that apart from JESUS you will not enter the kingdom -God will not bend the rules- The price for our sin is death -either ours or the LORD JESUS!
If we stood in that place -we would be forever separated from God forever- there is no going back! Jesus paid the price and the offer is on the table -we must take HIM up on it - Doug was a man of God and he will be missed - but I know given a choice to leave Heaven and come back to this place -Doug would pick heaven!
All of us will have to face a physical death -unless the LORD returns before then!Make sure you have reservations for heaven and have made all the preparations!
A side note: Are you ready to met the LORD? If not -
get to know JESUS and you will be ready!
Through CHRIST we have forever!

Doug W lost his battle with Cancer Wednesday morning(7-11)- he has gone home-Pray for his wife and family left behind –thank you -Doug attended church & knew the LORD!
Tomorrow is PRAYER DAY - please send in your PRAISES & REQUESTS
and together we will go to our FATHER GOD in prayer! Thank you!
