THE PATHWAY
PROVERBS 3:5&6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding- acknowledge HIM in all your ways and
He shall direct your paths!
We all get one life to live- we get one shot at this life- God in His wisdom gave us this world to dwell in - but this is just a dress rehearsal for eternity- it takes only moments to realize we are all just passing through this life- just the other day I read about a lady who passed away at 116 years old - the best we can hope for is a long life of 80 - 90 years- in the outside we could live to be 100 - but the odds are against that- and God has a specific time for us to leave this place- its already set- we will leave this place some day soon- only God knows for sure when - I said all that to say that we must live each day -each moment as if it were our last- we really do not have time to hold grudges or live life in anger or fear- and to live it to the fullest we must live it for JESUS - and HIM alone - We cannot lean on our own understanding -we can only lean on JESUS - HE is the only one who knows us fully -HE knows us better then we do! He has a pathway for each of our lives- we can choice to follow or we can run away -either way HIS way will be done! He has given us a free-will - He did not make us robots who He programmed to obey and love Him - who needs that? God knows what's in the heart of man - and He knows apart from Him there is nothing good there- it all boils down to sin and what it has done to HIS creation - Sin is anything we do that is not according to God's will for our lives- which pathway will you follow? Your way or HIS? We can live apart from God but the joy will be gone and our relationship with HIM will suffer from the neglect -lets choose to follow JESUS every step of the way!
A side note: When we begin our day -we take a step - are we going to be stepping closer to JESUS or futher away? Lets watch our steps!
With CHRIST we will walk the right pathway!
