9.9

DANIEL 9:9
To the LORD our GOD belong mercies and forgiveness,
Though we have rebelled against Him.

An interesting thought came to me as I prepared to do this devotional - I saw in Daniel this chapter in verse and it has 9.9 in the address -I thought about it and knew that would be the title for today -simply because we need to remember 9.9 each and every day - this simple combination of numbers will remind us that mercy comes from God even when we do not deserve - Take that with you where ever you go today and I guarantee your attitude will be different -many times in this world we expect things to happen our way - we expect to be treated fairly by Everyone - this is false expectation - when someone wrongs us the first thing many of us want to do is get back at them -we feel they have some nerve treating us that way - We tend to think we are better then others humanly but once the Spirit of God enters the picture -our attitude will change -we will begin to see that God does not give us what we do deserve - Though HIS grace -all our sins are forgiven - in the power of JESUS and HIS Cross - we can be white as snow again - When others do us wrong -we need to have compassion on them - this is not humanly possible -but in CHRIST we can do all things -so long as we allow HIM to do the work - lets remember 9.9 whenever someone harms you in some way - if someone cuts you off in traffic -talks badly about you behind their back - or to your face! Lets remember these numbers and think about God's grace- HE gives us what we do not deserve and withholds what we should have gotten instead - Your sins can be forgiven today if you put your trust - your hope - your everything at the feet of JESUS the LORD - He can be your personal Savior today -
trust in JESUS and you will be forever changed!
9.9 - lets remember this today!


A side note: No matter what anyone does to us - its not as bad as what we did in our sin - we must forgive as CHRIST has forgiven us!
9.9 - lets remember!

With CHRIST we see our sin and HIS forgiveness!
