HEBREWS 2:10
For it became HIM, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salivation perfect though sufferings.
We have all heard that JESUS died for us - We may have even seen many movies portray His sufferings- sometimes we hear it or see if so much it loses its meaning - this should not be so - what JESUS did for us was amazing -when we look at the cross we must realize that should be us up there- for He did for our sins - not HIS own - because of course JESUS never sinned! He is the perfect son of God! He came willingly to die for sins HE did not commit! To see Him handing there - makes us wonder how could GOD allow this to happen to HIS son? It just does not seem fair at all that the LAMB had to be slain - but this was GOD'S plan and God knows what HE is doing! He who made the stars in the sky -and everything else - came to earth to die like a criminal - yet not guitly of any sin Himself ! The cross shows us suffering in a large scale - it was a gruesome death -not a quick painless one either -JESUS suffered and died -for us! He made a way for us -HE became the bridge that brings us to God - While God used suffering to save us - HE will also use it in our lives as well -just because you have it bad - or things are going all wrong -does not mean you are apart from God -the very sufferings you are going though have a purpose in God's plan - His goal is to make us perfect - complete -mature - not lacking anything - and HE will use everything and anything to make it come to pass! JESUS suffered and died for us - and He has called us to take up our cross and follow - lets be followers of CHRIST that follow HIM anywhere HE goes!
A side note: To many who saw JESUS die on the cross - it seemed a total defeat- but the view from Heaven was much different - Jesus said it was finsished -HE had paid the price -and was the victor!
JESUS died to pay the price in full - and its paid!
With CHRIST HIS death brings us real life!

JESUS DIED SO OUR SINS COULD BE FORGIVEN!
