HEBREWS WALK #25

HEBREWS 2:13
. . . And again I will put my trust in Him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me . . .

In today's world there are many things that people put their trust in. Many put their trust in what their hands can do -what they can earn on their own- without taking into account what God has done in their lives- God is our provider not our employer- I learned a hard lesson some time again- that I was putting my trust in what I could do instead of what God could do for me- I often said time and time again that I needed my job - but God really showed me that it all can be taken away in a heartbeat- I began to loosen my grip on my job and things got better- not that the circumstances improved -but I had a peace- that is where we need to arrive at - I have to admit there are still other areas that I have not surrendered to control back to God in - I am not proud of it - but I am seeing that life is a process - God is not yet done with us - HIS goal is to make us more and more like HIS SON! Many times we must go through some very trying times to show us were our dependence is on - when its on God and HIM alone - we are at peace- perfect peace- it when we fight against God and try to do things our way and not HIS way! Like it or not - His way is always the best way! Lets surrender everything to JESUS and let HIM have HIS way in our lives- after all - He paid for them in HIS blood - the Savior died for us - He opened up heaven for us -He deserves complete and total control over our lives! Give it to HIM!

A side note: One problem all of us have is wanting to be in control - we have been told since children that you should have things your way and if you don't -then something is wrong -why not give it all back to GOD - it all belongs to HIM anyway! He is our provider and HE will take care of us! amen!

Though CHRIST we see the right way to live!
