THE DAILY BLUEPRINT FOR 9-1-06

NIGHT & DAY

PSALM 42:8
Yet the LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer
unto the God of my life!


With GOD anytime is the best time - He is everywhere - HE can be with us here and be with our loved ones who are away from home - HE is with us always -rather night or day - it matters not -God will always be with us - HE has promised never to leave nor forsake us - even during times of trial - God will continue to be with us -forever- there will never be a time when God is not there to help us - He is an ever-present help in time of need- the word says that during the day - His lovingkindness surrounds us and at night His song keeps us safe!

Sometimes in this life you will go through the darkness and at other times all you can see is the light - but no matter -God is with us and will never leave us - no matter what the circumstances look like -no matter what others might say - no matter how grim the news may be - God is with us - the battle rages on against terrorism - the cost of living is rising - innocent children are being abused - this is an evil world - but God is with us - there is no circumstance too bad for our God - HE is right here with us - rather night or day - you can depend on God - people will let you down - but HE never will - you can trust in GOD - today - tomorrow and forever- there is no time that HE will not be with us!

A side note: There is no place you can go and not be in the presence of the LORD - He is all around us -surrouding us - and leading us in the way that is best- Trust in the LORD today and tonight!

IN CHRIST we have HIS presence always!

HEBREWS WALK #26

HEBREWS 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of the flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that though death He might destroy him that had power over death, that is, the devil.

JESUS came to this world with the sole mission of saving the souls of man! Satan who once was a great angel of God, lost his postion when he wanted to take God's place- his charge was blasphemy like none other and he was cast from heaven- thereby becoming God's chief nemisis- and his mission has been to kill -steal and destory - just one look at the newspaper or the evening news one can see that satan is alive and well. He will never stop until the day God says no more and sends him forever to the lake of fire- until that day we must battle this evil one - JESUS came and took our place- His death brought us life- out of HIS pain -comes our salvation - all of us come into this world by flesh and blood -but that's not the full story - we are much more then just mere flesh and blood -but are spiritual beings - God sent HIS son to this world to save us - He had to come in the flesh in order to take away death's sting - sure satan wants to kill you -he wants to destroy our faith - he wants to take away all hope - but there is one thing he cannot do - PRAISE GOD - he cannot take away what God has done though HIS SON! JESUS took our death away forever- so we no longer need to fear it - but acknowledge that our GOD even rules over death! Praise HIM today - THANK YOU JESUS!

A side note: We need not fear those who can take away our earthly tents - our bodies- but GOD we need to fear -HE can take it all away - we must be known by HIM to enter HIS kingdom - its HIS WAY or no way - Death has lost its sting -its swollowed up in Victroy!

Though CHRIST we have eternal life!

THE PATHWAY

PROVERBS 3:5&6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding- acknowledge HIM in all your ways and
He shall direct your paths!

We all get one life to live- we get one shot at this life- God in His wisdom gave us this world to dwell in - but this is just a dress rehearsal for eternity- it takes only moments to realize we are all just passing through this life- just the other day I read about a lady who passed away at 116 years old - the best we can hope for is a long life of 80 - 90 years- in the outside we could live to be 100 - but the odds are against that- and God has a specific time for us to leave this place- its already set- we will leave this place some day soon- only God knows for sure when - I said all that to say that we must live each day -each moment as if it were our last- we really do not have time to hold grudges or live life in anger or fear- and to live it to the fullest we must live it for JESUS - and HIM alone - We cannot lean on our own understanding -we can only lean on JESUS - HE is the only one who knows us fully -HE knows us better then we do! He has a pathway for each of our lives- we can choice to follow or we can run away -either way HIS way will be done! He has given us a free-will - He did not make us robots who He programmed to obey and love Him - who needs that? God knows what's in the heart of man - and He knows apart from Him there is nothing good there- it all boils down to sin and what it has done to HIS creation - Sin is anything we do that is not according to God's will for our lives- which pathway will you follow? Your way or HIS? We can live apart from God but the joy will be gone and our relationship with HIM will suffer from the neglect -lets choose to follow JESUS every step of the way!

A side note: When we begin our day -we take a step - are we going to be stepping closer to JESUS or futher away? Lets watch our steps!

HEBREWS 2:13
. . . And again I will put my trust in Him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me . . .

In today's world there are many things that people put their trust in. Many put their trust in what their hands can do -what they can earn on their own- without taking into account what God has done in their lives- God is our provider not our employer- I learned a hard lesson some time again- that I was putting my trust in what I could do instead of what God could do for me- I often said time and time again that I needed my job - but God really showed me that it all can be taken away in a heartbeat- I began to loosen my grip on my job and things got better- not that the circumstances improved -but I had a peace- that is where we need to arrive at - I have to admit there are still other areas that I have not surrendered to control back to God in - I am not proud of it - but I am seeing that life is a process - God is not yet done with us - HIS goal is to make us more and more like HIS SON! Many times we must go through some very trying times to show us were our dependence is on - when its on God and HIM alone - we are at peace- perfect peace- it when we fight against God and try to do things our way and not HIS way! Like it or not - His way is always the best way! Lets surrender everything to JESUS and let HIM have HIS way in our lives- after all - He paid for them in HIS blood - the Savior died for us - He opened up heaven for us -He deserves complete and total control over our lives! Give it to HIM!

A side note: One problem all of us have is wanting to be in control - we have been told since children that you should have things your way and if you don't -then something is wrong -why not give it all back to GOD - it all belongs to HIM anyway! He is our provider and HE will take care of us! amen!

Though CHRIST we see the right way to live!

HEBREWS 2:12
Saying, I will declare Your name unto the brethren, in the midst of the church will I praise unto You!


What will people say about our lives when we are gone? What kind of legacy are we going to leave behind - the loss of my grandfather and the loss of a good friend earlier this year have put things in perspective- none of us will live here forever- its just a matter of time - we are not here for long - and God has used it to show me that life here is fleeting -we must do all we do for the glory of God or it will not last -we can be famous - make a grand work of art- sing a song -make lots of money and sill never leave a legacy - each day we live is one day closer to our homecoming -we are leaving this place- some sooner then others- and only God knows the day and the hour - we must be diligent in leaving our mark for Christ- we should always be about our Father's business -and JESUS is our example - I don't really like to talk about death -but not talking about it does not make it go away - Sin cased a shadow on our relationship with God -so much so -Jesus Christ had to come and die for us - HE had to lay down HIS life for ours- He opened for us eternal life - my mind is caught on the shortness of life- what are we doing with God has given is - ive learned Ive been too upset about things that really don't matter -when we are gone -what will people see- will they see Christ or our failures- our lives belong to HIM now and our lives should daily praise HIM - our lives are an example to the world how JESUS is - lets live out loud for JESUS and pack our bags- one day we will go home! What a glorious day that will be! Amen!

A side note: we have a short time in which to live on this earth -we do not have time to waste- lets follow the lead of JESUS and love everyone - and pot aside minor differences! Praise the LORD with your life!

Though CHRIST our last day on earth is not the last day for us!

HEBREWS WALK #23

HEBREWS 2:11
. . . For both He that sanctified and they who are
sanctified are all one: for which cause He is not
ashamed to call them brethren!

The GOD of all creation is not ashamed to call us HIS children! JESUS came and died for us- forever sanctifying us with Himself- so all who have come to know HIM are one - we have much more in common with each other then we might think -sure some of us have more money then others- a bigger house -maybe more kids then others have -but in CHRIST we are all the same - When JESUS came to die for us -HE did so with each of us in mind - He saw all of us - all of our sins and allowed it to be placed on Himself! God has called us into His kingdom - and desires that we grow and mature and become more and more like HIS Son! Our mission since coming to know Christ is to surrender all aspects of our lives to HIM - apart from HIM we can do nothing (John 15:5) But with CHRIST we can do all things (Phillipians 4:19) We who are saved are now apart of the family of God - like everyone else-we failed to see our need for a savior - we felt like outsiders and had a longing to belong with whoever would take us in! Only JESUS can save anyone- we do not make it to heaven by our deeds -but by the blood of the Lamb - JESUS could have walked away - and our souls would be lost forever- HE loved us so much HE took to the road ahead of Him that ended in death -but brought us life!

A side note: Jesus died for us while we were still caught in sin -HE is the only way out - He is not ashamed to call us HIS own! He paid a dear price for us- but would do again to save you! JESUS took our place- HE died and set us free forever! Amen!

Though CHRIST we became God's children!

HIS LIFE FOR OUR SIN - HIS DEATH FOR OUR LIVES!

THE DAILY BLUEPRINT FOR 8-18-06

But God!

ACTS 13:29-30
and when they had fulfilled all that was written of Him (JESUS), they took Him down from the tree, and laid Him in a sepulcher.
But God raised Him from the dead: . . .


These two words say it all - But God! That's all that is needed to be said - we were in sin -dead and heading to hell -but God sent HIS SON to this world to shed His blood to save us - we were lost without hope -but God gave us grace- you see no matter what has happened in your life- God can change it all around in a moment- He will allow what HE allows for HIS purpose- you can be assured whatever you are going though God has allowed it - HE is in control and knows what each of need - Jesus was murdered on a tree (cross) for our sins - and when all was fulfilled of the prophecy - They laid HIM in a tomb -and that was the end - or so they thought - until three days later JESUS rose again - and HE did not do so quietly -but was seen by 500 or more people - He had beaten death and the grave for us! Remember GOD always has the last word in any circumstance- you may have a lot going wrong in your life right now- maybe you cannot even seem to keep the bills paid - the animals walked or the kids taught - we do live in a sin-filled world were selfish people live - people who want what they want when they want it - Life can really drag you down - but its so great to remember that JESUS loves us -that HE died for us - that HE gave us all we really need - Himself - so if you are consumed by this world -if life has your down - God can turn it around - when all goes wrong - wait - God will come though - ive seen it time and time again -God is faithful and true- He will never leave nor forsake us - this is good news-
If you are down - say but God! And keep on keeping on - the race set before us - We praise the LORD!


A side note: It seemed hopeless for Job -and for Joseph -our Lord also suffered - and it seemed all hope was gone - JESUS walked the earth and was always loving -always healing -always living for HIS FATHER - but to see HIM die on a cross and be put in the grave- made it seem all hope was gone - Friday night He suffered and died - but come Sunday He rose again- and everything changed -Sin lost its hold on us -we are now free in CHRIST! PRAISE THE LORD!

With CHRIST the end is already settled!

HEBREWS WALK #22

HEBREWS 2:10
For it became HIM, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salivation perfect though sufferings.


We have all heard that JESUS died for us - We may have even seen many movies portray His sufferings- sometimes we hear it or see if so much it loses its meaning - this should not be so - what JESUS did for us was amazing -when we look at the cross we must realize that should be us up there- for He did for our sins - not HIS own - because of course JESUS never sinned! He is the perfect son of God! He came willingly to die for sins HE did not commit! To see Him handing there - makes us wonder how could GOD allow this to happen to HIS son? It just does not seem fair at all that the LAMB had to be slain - but this was GOD'S plan and God knows what HE is doing! He who made the stars in the sky -and everything else - came to earth to die like a criminal - yet not guitly of any sin Himself ! The cross shows us suffering in a large scale - it was a gruesome death -not a quick painless one either -JESUS suffered and died -for us! He made a way for us -HE became the bridge that brings us to God - While God used suffering to save us - HE will also use it in our lives as well -just because you have it bad - or things are going all wrong -does not mean you are apart from God -the very sufferings you are going though have a purpose in God's plan - His goal is to make us perfect - complete -mature - not lacking anything - and HE will use everything and anything to make it come to pass! JESUS suffered and died for us - and He has called us to take up our cross and follow - lets be followers of CHRIST that follow HIM anywhere HE goes!


A side note: To many who saw JESUS die on the cross - it seemed a total defeat- but the view from Heaven was much different - Jesus said it was finsished -HE had paid the price -and was the victor!
JESUS died to pay the price in full - and its paid!

With CHRIST HIS death brings us real life!

TEARLESS

REVELATION 7:17
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them unto the living fountains of waters: and He shall wipe away all tears from their eyes!


The Word has great news for everyone who trust JESUS as their Savior - what awaits us is awesome -this life we live right now is not going to last forever- no matter how good or bad our lives may seem -we are not here for long -we are all just passing though - JESUS has promised us Paradise with Him - one day when we leave this place behind -we are going to our actual Home with God forever- as I have said before the mind cannot even think of what it will be like - it will be totally different from the lives we now live and hear about on the news- Jesus will one day wipe all our tears away - the struggles of this life will be no more- when we go Home! One day God is going to close this world up like someone closes up a shop - but in HIS case - this world will be gone but the new world that is as God had intended this world -will be our final resting place- all the injustice of today -and the hate will be no more-
As we pass though this life -we must look to heaven -we must send our treasures there -for our heart will follow - its not important what we had in this life- how long we lived -how much money we had - one day none of that will matter- its our destination that matters most! I have longed to do some work with a band - I like to write songs -lyrics at least -and Ive got a name of a band that God gave me - its called Destination Heaven- and the first song could be look up! I say all this to say that where we are going is more important then where we have been - one day we will die -and leave these bodies -it will happen - but its great news to know that God Himself will wipe away our tears -and if you have lived a long time or a short time- there have been times of
tears in all our lives - When JESUS was here HE even wept!
But those tears will be dried up when JESUS takes us home!
Oh what a glorious day that will be - amen!

A side note: Eric Clapton wrote a song about his son who died - his song was named Tears in Heaven- and he sang that in heaven there will be no more tears- they will no longer be needed- we will be with GOD and all our needs will be met completely by HIM - we will be in heaven one day! amen!

With CHRIST our tears will one day be wiped away!

THE DAILY BLUEPRINT FOR 8-15-06

HEBREWS WALK #21

HEBREWS 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower then the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with
glory and honor; that He by the grace of God
should taste death for every man.

When JESUS died on the cross -He did so alone- even God the Father had to turn HIS back on the Son - at no other time in eternity had this happened before -it is fixed in time as the ultimate death experience- Jesus died - He tasted the death we deserve - He paid the price in full -and said it was finished - the cost has been covered! Jesus was made just a little lower then the angels -so that HE could die like we do - in the flesh- and He willingly gave up HIS life for you and me - He did this willingly - no one chained Him without God allowing it - no one could lay a hand on JESUS without God's permission! When JESUS died - HE died once for all - He did not have to die repeatedly like the sacrifices of old - ONCE WAS ENOUGH! We have though the grace of GOD purchased on the cross - peace with GOD! The blood of the Lamb has cleansed us from ALL unrighteousness - our sins placed JESUS on the Cross -but HIS love for us- kept HIM there- several times during HIS crucifixion - JESUS reminded those who nailed Him down - and those who hurled insults at HIM that HE could command Angels to come to HIS aid - with one word JESUS could have stopped it all - but HE continued on -the pain was no match for HIS love for us - Yes JESUS suffered for our sin - He made a way to GOD though HIMSELF -
We worship the MIGHTY GOD - the ONE who Gave HIS ONLY SON -so that we would live and never have to die - we remain alive always in CHRIST - The glory of GOD is found totally and completely in JESUS!

A side note: Apart from GOD there is no hope - we cannot be saved without HIS grace - HIS SON paid the price for us - lets celebrate JESUS CHRIST today - HE willingly laid down HIS life -and died -so we could live and then rose again the third day -so we could see the power of GOD - JESUS came to die - HE lived to die - when we die to self -we live though HIM!

With CHRIST death has lost all its sting!

HEART STRENGTH

PSALM 31:24
Be of good courage, and HE shall strenghten your heart,
all you that hope in the LORD!

In our physical bodies as strong heart is a really great thing to have - the only problem is that heart will one day pass away- God wants to bring strength to the heart that stays forever -our heart as in this verse is our soul - our being - who we actually are - HE wants to strengthen our hearts so that they will become hearts that are sold out to HIM!

Sometimes God must allow pain to cause our heart to grow stronger- while going though such times many of us question God -we begin to wonder if HE is going to be coming to our aid- we begin to doubt HIS ability to keep us in HIS hands - we fret -we worry and we think all this will cause our heart to grow- but the only that will is our faith and trust in JESUS! When He came into our hearts -our old heart was removed and a brand new heart was put in it's place- its one of rebirth - We must be a good courage- to believe GOD is going to do what HE says HE will do - He will come though -we must believe HIM even when it seems like such a far fetched thing - GOD will come though at just the right time always! HE wants our hearts to beat for HIM and HE will bring us to this point HIS way - in HIS time - We must submit to HIM and allow HIM to have HIS way in our lives - there by our hearts will be strengthened for HIM - Allow GOD to change your heart today -come to know HIM and the rebirth HE offers -if you have any questions on how to begin a personal life changing relationship with JESUS CHRIST please email me -and I will pray with you - Let God change your heart strength today!

A side note: when we are born we have a heart - and than when we are born again -we get a brand new one - one that only wants to please God - lets ask for this kind of heart today!

HEBREWS WALK #20

HEBREWS 2:8
You have put all things in subjection under His feet. For in that He put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing
That is not put under Him. But now we see
Not yet all things put under Him!

Today's verse is another reminder that God is in full and complete control - everything that happens to us - in our lives - has a purpose- He has allowed what HE has allowed so HIS will made be done- You just never know what God has planned for you - Paul says that God placed everything under the authority of JESUS our Savior - but also points out that we have not seen this yet- right now we still have a choice to worship Him or not - we can walk away and do our own thing or we can walk intimately with Jesus - one day however when all things are fully under HIS feet- the choice will be no one - we will have to worship Him - and its so much better to do that now -and then later -then not do it now and then have to later - what a sad day it will be when all bow down to HIM and HE judges the wicked deeds we have done - for GOD to say - you are going away from ME forever- I never knew you - what a sad day when that person has had chances to come to JESUS fully - but never did so in this life - one day every knee will bow before JESUS!

We know that GOD has plans for each of us - and HE allows many things to happen in each of our lives- all which brings about HIS glory and HIS will in our lives -the people we cross paths with in this life are not chance meetings- no! God has set it up for us - He has made a way for us - one great example is my friend Marlene - ive not heard from her in maybe 3 years - but tonight she imed me - we talked at length - and caught up on what's going on in each of our lives- our meeting well only online - had a purpose -she was able to encourage me and I could do the same for her- God set that up - He made that happen - He brought me my wonderful wife- such a loving and humble person- who loves JESUS and loves others -she is a great example to me - God had all this planned before I was even born - He does the same in your life as well- if you are discouraged right now - remember that one day -very soon- JESUS will return and take us home - one day very soon! God has plans for your life - why not seek HIS face and remember all things are under HIS feet!

A side note: there is nothing in our lives that GOD did not allow to be there -allow HIM to have HIS way with you today!
your life will change if you do this! amen!

HE WILL ENDURE!

PSALM 102:12
But You, Lord, shall endure forever and Your
Remembrance unto all generations!


Lately God has been showing me how HIS track record is unmatched - no one else is great as our GOD - He always comes though - HIS will always gets done - no one can take away from you what GOD wants you to do - HE is our strong tower - our protector - and HE will endure forever -God will never tire - HE will always endure - He will not come to a point when HE wants to give up - HE always strives in our lives -HE has a goal in mind for each of us - and HE wants to see us though - its not a matter of if HE will - more a matter of when - God knows just the right time - HE knows what we have need of before we ask!

Just last night on my way home from work - I got a lesson in Life 101!
We are very short on rain fall this year - this summer has been very dry and hot - no rain has really fallen often this summer at my house - well on the way home I began to see the road being wet and I leaped for joy - thinking the same result was to be found at my house -but when I got home I found that not even a drop of rain had fallen - this discouraged me - and God just bought to my attention that HE knows best- even when humanly it makes no sense- HE will come though - God also reminded me of places in this world that have not had any rainfall in years!
talk about dry! Our human nature fails every time - we get fooled into thinking we know best -the truth is GOD always knows best -and HE said HE would never leave nor forsake us -who else could promise that? No matter what happens in our lives - GOD will be there - HE will endure!
Praise HIM for HIS endurance!


A side note: Our minds cannot fathom what forever is - most of us have been on this earth less then 80 years - and those that have - don't even get what forever is - our view is limited- but not God's - HE sees all and knows all -and will never fail- He and His love endure forever! amen!

HEBREWS 2:7
You have made Him a little lower then the angels, You have crowned Him with glory and honor, and did set Him over the works of Your hands. . .

When God sent HIS only SON Into this world -it was to save sinners from certain death -not just a physical death -but a total -spiritual death -a death that is nothing less then torment -forever apart from God - we need to be thankful JESUS came to this world to save sinners like us!

When God sent HIS SON - He made HIM a little lower then the angels -for the first time -the Angels were in Heaven and JESUS was in the flesh- this juxtaposition must have been strange - God in man? The angels must have shaken their heads - or better yet -gasped at what they heard and saw - and when JESUS went to the cross - legions of angels where waiting for HIS call to come down and rescue HIM from the cross -but there would be no rescue -JESUS came from Heaven to Earth to go all the way to the cross and beyond - While JESUS was for the first time in man - it was strange to see the Son of Man dying - to suffering pain -many thought what kind of Savior is this - the one we all needed to be right with GOD - While on Earth JESUS had full power to do anything -but He limited HIS power so HE could save us - this all is so amazing and our minds cannot even get all the way around this - what an awesome GOD we serve - a GOD who has saved us from death!
Praise GOD!

A side note: JESUS - while GOD in man - had unlimited power to do anything -but HE surrendered all that power in order to die for us -
While many saw defeat on Calvary - God saw Victory - HIS perfect life for our sinfilled lives- what a trade -like none in all of history!
JESUS DIED SO WE COULD LIVE!

With CHRIST we have VICTORY in HIS blood!!!!

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble;
and He knows them that trust in Him!


Jesus warned His followers many times that in this life they would have trouble - this is not our home -many of us act like it is - I for one have done that in a number of ways -when I care too much for the stuff of this life and not enough about the people in my life- there is something wrong -we must set aside our needs and obey God at all times - This life can eat you up and spit you out - we live in a sin-filled -evil world- why do we not expect to be hated for the name of JESUS - Ive been reading about the persecuted church around the world - its a sad commentary but a the same time -these people who have laid down lives considered it Joy - just like Paul said - they don't want to have the persecution removed - they just need brothers and sisters standing strong in prayer for them - when the trouble comes - God is our strong tower and our stronghold - HE will hold you - when times are rough -HE will hold you -when you have no idea what to do or where to go - He will hold you - and there is nothing like being in His arms - His arms are big enough to give us all HIS love -The arms of JESUS stretched out on the cross is the picture of God's ultimate love for His creation - When trouble comes -God will hold you - He must be the first one we run to when calamity strikes - but unfortunately many go to Him as a last ditched effort - where is your trust? HE knows them that trust Him and others will see if what we confess is really the truth - trouble will come in this life -sooner or later -we all have to face some big opsticals - but the good news is GOD is big enough to handle any problem we may be having -He is faithful and true and His track record is flawless - lets trust in the LORD our GOD and allow HIM to hold us!

A side note: A life that trusts in JESUS is a life that can change others- JESUS gave HIS life for us - He did not just say HE loved us - He showed us - and give up everything to save us! Praise HIM!

But one in a certain place testified, saying- "What is man that you are mindful of him? or the Son of man, that you visited Him?"


You may think that you can do what you want and never have to face the music - you may think you can live in the vacuum where what you do does not matter nor does it effect those around you - the truth is we are important to God -all of us - none more important then the other -human beings however love to rate things -to determine which is better- whole ad campaigns focus on this fact - giving you more of a reason to by theirs as opposed to buying the other guys product - The angels are important and asked God a neat question -almost as to say - why pay attention to those humans - and of course satan would ask why help those who will just turn on you - but thankfully JESUS did not listen to such idle talk -but instead went to the cross fully knowing what we would do with what we have been given - God is mindful of us - HE wants us to be just like HIS Son -that is HIS goal for our lives -He accomplishes this in many ways - through HIS WORD - and though others -God can use anyone and anything to cause HIS will to come to past - and at the same time allow us the free will to obey HIM and follow or ignore HIM and walk away - HE has given all of us a choice to follow or walk away - He is perfect and cannot even be in the presence of sin -that's why HE came as JESUS so HE could save the world - God has HIS eyes on us - He is mindful of us - we are important to GOD - We matter to HIM - lets remember that God's gaze is on us always - HE said HE would never leave us! You can guarantee that! amen!

A side note: Jesus did not create us and then walk away - HE IS WITH US TODAY - HE said HE would always be there - Heaven and Earth could pass away - and HE would still be there! AMEN!

HIS LIFE

ACTS 20:24
. . . But none of these things move (affect) me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus,
to testify the gospel of the grace of God!


One problem I face -like many of you do -is wanting my way - We had planned to go to Atlanta this weekend -however those plans fell through in the last minutes - my wife was sick and her car -which we had planned to drive had break problems- and getting our big dog in my little SUV is no fun at all - so we decided to stay home - I have to admit I had my heart set on seeing my folks and being on the open road - but that is not going to happen now - I had some issues with this and expressed those to no avail - its was not in GOD'S for us to go this weekend- maybe I am making a big to do about nothing - but it illustrated a very true point -we are selfish human beings- we want what we want when we want it -and today's world even goes as far to say we deserve it -its almost if a life that is totally smooth sailing -is what we all want - we want just enough JESUS to save us - but not enough to convict us and change us -
these are harsh words and this is a harsh truth - that there is nothing good in us except for the Holy Spirit - another problem is so many of us are living life out of our flesh -and not the spirit - I am one to talk - Its so easy and even natural to live life for ourselves- we have been taught since very young -that its all about us - but the truth is its not - we must never allow the things - events or ways of this life get in the way of our relationship with Jesus Christ -we all seem to have our own agenda - When it should be CHRIST and HIM crucified that defines us - have we gotten lost in the hustle and bustle of this life? We must allow HIS LIFE to live within ours - we are always HIS - no matter where we are -we can be in church and be further from JESUS then when we are in our cars driving down the road -its not the place- its the heart- lets remember we belong to JESUS and its HIS Life that lives within our life!


A side note: Who or what do we live for? If its anyone other than JESUS CHRIST - we need to reexamine our lives!

With CHRIST HIS LIFE lives within ours!

We forget the greater and still continuing miracle by which water (with soil and sunlight) is turned into grapes.- Wendell Berry
Along with the everyday multiplying of fishes in all the seas of the world and the process that God created, but in which He deigns to use us, which turns grain into bread are other examples of the miraculous occurring in our common existence. Often we miss God in our lives because we are looking for something extraordinary or because that which should amaze us is too ordinary since we see it every day. It is easy to see God when Jesus reaches out his hand and a dead child comes to life, but be sure not to miss God at work and the miracle that happens when you reach out your “hand” through your ministry and a child somewhere in the world comes to life.
Please lift up these prayer and praises:
--Praise God for a very successful conference last week. It was a great blessing!
--Start praying now the opportunity to attend next year’s National Conference. It will be held August 1-4, 2007 in Lake George, NY.
--Thank you for praying for the last minute Compassion Sunday event at University Baptist Church in FL where 400 child packets were on hand last weekend. Praise God that all 400 packets were taken and join us in praying for the services this weekend where they will have 250 more child packets on hand!
--Pray for the events at Hope Presbyterian Church in Memphis this weekend. Compassion graduate George Jowi of Kenya will be there to speak during a concert Friday night and in their 4 weekend services! Over 200 child packets will be on hand and advocates Greg and Karen Spencer along with Barry Lem will be heading up the efforts there.

HEBREWS 2:5
For unto to the angels has he not put into subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. . .


Paul again is comparing the supremeness of JESUS to the angels - God made the angels but JESUS has always been - and in the world to come -the angels will no longer have the same function - right now they are God's messengers -and protectors of His people - Many times in this life I have experienced some unexplainable things - many involved near accidents - last Sunday I nearly had an accident -but I know the hand of GOD stopped my truck - that's the only explanation -because trucks don't stop like mine did - and there was no collision - let's face it -we live in a sin-filled world -and anything can happen to anyone - and last night as I mowed my yard -I hit a hole and nearly flew off my tractor - again God protected me - I believe He uses His angels to watch over us - but as great as the angels are - JESUS is far better- for JESUS is the only one who could save us - He was the only one to step out of heaven to come to earth with the purpose of taking on human flesh and dying for our sins - the Angels have always been and will forever always be spiritual beings - some day we will leave this place- this world will end - like it or not -each day that passes is one day closer to the end-
lets praise GOD when its called today -for we have no idea what tomorrow may bring - God be with each of you!A m e n !

A side note: If God where to show us how many times HE has protected us - we would be amazed - how many near misses have you had?
Think about that today - GOD is our Strong Tower!

DANIEL 9:9
To the LORD our GOD belong mercies and forgiveness,
Though we have rebelled against Him.

An interesting thought came to me as I prepared to do this devotional - I saw in Daniel this chapter in verse and it has 9.9 in the address -I thought about it and knew that would be the title for today -simply because we need to remember 9.9 each and every day - this simple combination of numbers will remind us that mercy comes from God even when we do not deserve - Take that with you where ever you go today and I guarantee your attitude will be different -many times in this world we expect things to happen our way - we expect to be treated fairly by Everyone - this is false expectation - when someone wrongs us the first thing many of us want to do is get back at them -we feel they have some nerve treating us that way - We tend to think we are better then others humanly but once the Spirit of God enters the picture -our attitude will change -we will begin to see that God does not give us what we do deserve - Though HIS grace -all our sins are forgiven - in the power of JESUS and HIS Cross - we can be white as snow again - When others do us wrong -we need to have compassion on them - this is not humanly possible -but in CHRIST we can do all things -so long as we allow HIM to do the work - lets remember 9.9 whenever someone harms you in some way - if someone cuts you off in traffic -talks badly about you behind their back - or to your face! Lets remember these numbers and think about God's grace- HE gives us what we do not deserve and withholds what we should have gotten instead - Your sins can be forgiven today if you put your trust - your hope - your everything at the feet of JESUS the LORD - He can be your personal Savior today -
trust in JESUS and you will be forever changed!
9.9 - lets remember this today!


A side note: No matter what anyone does to us - its not as bad as what we did in our sin - we must forgive as CHRIST has forgiven us!

HEBREWS 2:4
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will.


God has not asked us to believe in HIM blindly - but has shown us HIMSELF in various ways - when JESUS walked the earth -He performed miracles and healing every where He went - those who saw HIM did not have much doubt at all as to HIM being the Son of God! Jesus healed the sick - made the blind see and the deaf hear - JESUS is the true and only miracle worker - JESUS came to die on the cross for our sins - to be our payment - to make us right with GOD - HE has revealed HIMSELF in a multitude of ways - in circumstances - in the lives of other Christ Followers - and in our very hearts - I have seen too many and been though too many miracles not to believe God - HE has come though time and time again - HIS track record is flawless -HE is perfect and HE knows what we have need of before we even ask -HE wants a personal -life changing relationship with HIMSELF though JESUS!
The truth has been revealed to us - we must view these things with the eyes of faith - for doubt will blind us - but faith will cause us to see - God who is invisible can be viewed in the lives of those around us -we can see God each and every day - in many different ways - through the miracles - through the power and though the grace given to us though His blood - we don't have to see to believe - but God has shown us HIMSELF in many ways - if you want to see GOD - just look around!

A side note: God cannot be put in a box - I heard a quote - God does not act like we want HIM to act - that's because HE is in control and we are not! Look for GOD today -HE can been seen!
