WHO DO WE SAY HE IS?

The Daily Blueprint 8-14-07

MARK 8:27-29
And Jesus went out, and His disciples, into the towns of Casarea Philippi and by the way He asked His disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? and they answered - John the Baptist; but some say, Elias, and others , One of the prophets. And He said unto them, Whom do you say that I am? and Peter answered, and said unto Him. You are the CHRIST!!!

JESUS asked a very pointed question - He first asked HIS followers who did others say that He was - and then He asked them who they said He was - and finally Peter answered with the truth - JESUS is the CHRIST! This revelation did not come by man - but by God! Who do our lives say that JESUS is? Is the the Savior we claim HIM to be - what do our lives say? JESUS is the SAVIOR - but our lives need to line up with this truth -we must be willing to risk it all to claim that JESUS is the Messiah - many have made many claims about JESUS -but are you willing to bank your whole life on HIS claims? Are you willing to follow HIM when you cannot see HIM moving at all? Are you ready to claim HE is the TRUTH and the WAY and the LIFE? We must be willing to let our lives speak who CHRIST is! We must be willing to not hold back at all -we need not be ashamed of WHO CHRIST IS! Who do we say HE is? I know sometimes my life does not line up to HIS claims - its pride -its selfishness on my part- HE is THE CHRIST but does my life say HE Is the CHRIST? I pray it does - life is not easy as all of us should know - but the great thing WE ARE NOT ALONE! Jesus is with us - HE wants us to be on fire for HIM - He wants our lives to claim the truth of WHO HE IS! We are HIS - and its not by what we do -its by what HE has already done - HE has claimed us as HIS own!Who do you say that JESUS is?
Is HE just someone you get together with one day a week - or is HE the Savior of your soul and of the world? Think about that!

A SIDE NOTE: THE WORLD IS NOT LOOKING AT OUR WORDS BUT OUR ACTIONS - SINCE WE CLAIM CHRIST - OUR LIVES SHOULD BRING GOD GLORY! OUR ACTIONS AND NOT OUR WORDS WILL BE REMEMBERED - LETS NOT JUST SPEAK THE TRUTH BUT LIVE THE TRUTH!
PRAISE THE LORDWITH YOUR LIFE!

I had a safe trip to Atlanta yesterday- thanks for your prayers- my mom2 looks much better- one of her Dr's called her amazing - I know GOD is healing her and I PRIASE HIS MIGHTY NAME! Instead of moving to another rehabilitation center -she may just stay at the hospital until her hip replacement surgery- keep praying -thanks! Daniel
