ISAIAH 42:9
Behold the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them!

Welcome to the fresh new year of 2007 - this year is just hours old and we all look forward to what this year has in store for us - God is speaking to us today and as always HE tells of great things to come - it today's verse God is telling that the old things are now gone - 2006 is gone - we cannot ever again live those days - those days are forever gone - all we can do is move forward - but lets not forget this day - we should take 2007 one day at a time -there will be blessings this year but at the same time there will be trying times - there will be days when we cannot see the reason for what is happening - but God as always will be on the throne - HE alone is our Father - He will allow us blessings and times of testing - but in the end all of it will be for HIS purpose- We are not our own and neither is this year- it all belongs to God - He made it all - and He has plans for you this year - this day - lets take the time this year to get alone with God and just listen - I heard a verse today -it talks about our strength being renewed when we wait on the Lord -that is the simple message I bring to you today - lets wait on the LORD - He and He lone know the right direction - He alone is our beacon in a world of darkness -
Lets go and fill our calendar with great things- for the pages are blank -and soon we will return to work and school and things will go back to normal -and while we put up the CHRISTmas directions - lets not put Christ away but lets allow HIM to stay at the verse surface of our lives so He can go even deeper into our hearts this year- 2006 was year that had both blessings and trials and 2007 will be the same in that regard - but today -we have a new year that stretches before us -and this is just one more year closer to our Savior's return - lets wait on the LORD this year - Happy New Year

If you don't know JESUS today - then 2007 will be just like 2006 - you will spent it lost without a new heart - you must place your trust in JESUS for your salavation -HE alone can bring you a new heart - put your trust in HIM today and 2007 will be a brand new year of life!
