HEBREWS 4:12
For the WORD of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper then any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart!

Today's verse is one of my favorites - for in it - is what the WORD of GOD Is all about - its to show that we need JESUS - all throughout the Good Book- JESUS is the thread that keeps it all together! The Word is powerful - when it gets in your heart it changes you - it always points to JESUS - and though many will say it contradicts itself- its perfect- its complete - not lacking anything - through it and in it we can know God in a personal way - His Spirit also reveals the truth of HIS mighty word- It can divide friends and family - it can be misused and misquoted - it can also be used to show the lost they way to JESUS CHRIST! The WORD is GOD'S written truth - for all to see and read - this ministry is all about JESUS as HE is revealed in HIS WORD- the WORD also can show us that our hearts intentions are not good and pure like we may think - it always leads us right back to JESUS - we must daily meditate on the Word- we must actually consume it like we do food - we cannot go long without food - we are the same way with the WORD!
Lets live in the WORD and see GOD in each and every page!
THE WORD IS POWERFUL! amen!

A side note: a song by the group MercyMe is called Word of God speak - if we would stop and listen -we could actually hear GOD Speak in HIS mighty word- but few of us take the time to actually read it - lets just do it!
