HEBREWS WALK #5
HEBREWS 1:6
And again, when HE brings in the first begotten into the world, He says, And let all the
Angels of God worship HIM!
JESUS and HE alone deserves our praise - the only begotten of the Father came to lay His life down - fully knowing what we would do - He saw us from the cross - this is an interesting perspective - He knew what sins we would commit and still went to the cross - He knew it was worth it - to save us from our sins - God longs for all to come to know Him and repent and receive His promise - later on in Hebrews Paul will talk about the promise God has given us in HIS Son - without the shed blood of the Lamb of God - none of us could be saved - its not by merit - its not by good behavior -its not by giving money - its by receiving Christ- Ive been praying for God to take this to another level - and just yesterday I was reading in New Man and this page on Blogging opened to me a new venue for this ministry - I know more can be reached this way - and this is what HIS call on my life is - to bring the truth to the lost - and to help those who already belong to Christ to know HIM more - Jesus came to save the lost and He saved us so we can also testify of HIS truth!
HE loves all - He longs for all to come to HIM - and HE does not want any lost - I read about some people thinking they are doing God's work but spreading hate - they actually celebrate homosexuals who die and go to hell- this is not from God - sure homosexuality is sin but so is lying - God knows best - pray for our hearts to be softened by the gospel and we will live the truth that JESUS is the only way to be saved!
Amen!
A side note: The angels worship JESUS - this shows that JESUS is greater then the angels - I heard a wonderful song that said - even the wind and the waves obey Him but why don't we - He has given us a choice to serve Him or self -HE has left it up to us - He loves us so much - HE wants true worshippers - that's what we have been called to do - worship JESUS in all you do!
When we trust in CHRIST we learn how to worship!
